Let your voice soar!
Let your voice soar!
Boost your confidence! Voice lessons aren’t just about becoming a better singer, but also about improving and exploring our relationship with ourselves.
Voice Lessons
-
Improve Technique
The voice is an instrument and like all other instruments, it needs proper care and usage. We’ll work on breathing and proper vocal manipulation to help your voice soar and strengthen your mind-body connection.
-
Expand Repertoire
In addition to the music you already know and love, we’ll explore unfamiliar music, new and old, of many genres.
-
Become Multifaceted
Even if you play other instruments, improving your singing skills can greatly inform your musicality.
So how do lessons work?
I welcome people of all ages and abilities! You do not have to be interested in classical/opera to learn to sing!
I’ve been teaching for nearly a decade and have taught people from age 6 to 70+; it’s never too late to start! However, I generally ask that you be at least 10 years old to begin.
We can start with a discounted trial lesson to see if we’re a good fit. Sign up below!
Sessions can be as short as 45 mins and up to 90 mins.
You can come to me or I can go to you, depending on location. I mostly teach in the cities of Bellevue, Mercer Island, Newcastle, and Renton.
You do not need any prior music experience, but please let me know if you do!

For advanced and semi-professional singers and instrumentalists
Are you preparing for an audition, competition, or performance?
In addition to teaching, I love supporting musicians via coaching. During these sessions, we’re going beyond technique and basics.
How are you interpreting the music? Is that being conveyed properly to the audience?
Whether you’re a singer or an instrumentalist, we can work together to look at the bigger picture by examining how all the elements within a piece come together to create a cohesive performance.
For singers, I love working on diction and text. Let’s examine text painting and subtext to express the poetry and/or librettos we’re singing.

Payment options include cash, check, Zelle, and Venmo.
-
Communication regrading cancellation and/or rescheduling should take place with at least 36 hours of notice. If not, a 50% lesson fee will be owed the following month or within 10 days if lessons are not scheduled for the following month.
If a lesson is cancelled or rescheduled with more than 36 hours till the scheduled time, the previously made payment will be rolled over to the following month by default. If instead you need a refund, I will sort that out for you.
